Carol Emerson is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has a BA in History from Boston College, a BS in Nursing from Russell Sage College and a Masters in Science from The Sage Graduate Schools in Troy, New York. Although born and raised in the Boston area, Carol spent the last 20 years living in western Massachusetts. During that time she gained experience treating mood disorders, depression, anxiety disorders, and ADHD. She believes the key to achieving better mental health is based in a plan that includes clean-living along with therapy and proper medication. She is also focused on keeping current with new research and trends in psychiatry and is currently offering patients DNA testing to better customize medications to the individual patient. Carol strives to know her clients well in an effort to provide individualized care and treatment.
Cindy Laporte-Unni, has been working in the healthcare field in the North Shore of
Massachusetts since 1986. Her prior positions include Mental Health Care, ICU,
Pulmonary Rehab, Hospice, Urgent Care, and numerous other specialties. She
received her LPN from Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute, Associates
Degree in Nursing from North Shore Community College, and later her bachelor’s
and Masters’ degree from Endicott College, finally receiving her PMHNP from
Wilkes University.
Amanda Riley is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in nursing from Northeastern University, as well as a postgraduate PMHNP certificate from The University of Massachusetts Amherst. Prior to joining Ferncroft Behavior Health, Amanda has worked as a pediatric nurse, family nurse practitioner, clinical nursing instructor, and school nurse at a therapeutic special education school.
Katie Clevenger is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She provides holistic mental health care to patients of all ages. She completed her graduate studies at Northern Kentucky University. She has extensive experience working in community focused mental health.
Katie believes that each patient's family member is a part of the team and has something to contribute to the patient's care. She believes in family-centered and evidenced based care to help achieve the best possible outcomes. She works hard to advocate for each patient to reach their highest level of mental and physical health.
She has a passion for working with transitional age youth and adults providing treatment for a variety of disorders including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and mood disorders.
When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with family. She enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, singing, and leading a healthy and active lifestyle.
