Cancellation & No-Show Policy (Effective July 1, 2024)

To provide timely care to all patients, we have updated our cancellation and no-show policy: • Established patients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. • Any cancellation or reschedule made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend a scheduled appointment, will be considered a No Show. • Charges for No Shows are as follows: $50 fee for the 1st occurrence $100 fee for the 2nd occurrence $150 fee for the 3rd occurrence • Patients with more than three no-shows may be subject to evaluation for discharge from the practice. • These fees are the patient’s responsibility and cannot be billed to insurance. Payment is due by your next visit.

Medication Refill Policy

To ensure safe and efficient medication management: • All refill requests are processed within 72 business hours of receipt. • Refills must be requested by the patient only, using one of the following methods: Email: info@ferncroftbh.com Dedicated refill phone line: 978-606-0011, option 3 Patient portal • Pharmacy requests for refills are not accepted, and Ferncroft Behavioral Health will not contact pharmacies to verify refill status.

Insurance Billing Policy

To avoid billing issues: • It is the patient’s responsibility to provide current and accurate insurance information prior to appointments. • If new insurance coverage is obtained, please notify our office promptly. • If insurance on file is inactive or expired on the date of service, the visit will be billed at the Self-Pay rate of $120.00.

Scheduled Appointment Time Policy (Effective August 1, 2024)

To respect everyone’s time and ensure smooth scheduling: • Established patients arriving more than 5 minutes late to their appointment will need to reschedule. • New patients arriving more than 10 minutes late will need to reschedule.
